Purchase a Gift Card
Go to the Apple Store site (see Resources) and select a gift card in the amount you want to add to your account balance. Click “Add to Cart,” and then click “Check Out.” Sign in to your iTunes account. Enter your PayPal debit card information or select PayPal as your payment method. If you use PayPal’s Bill Me Later feature, you can choose this option on the “Financing” tab. Complete the transaction to receive your gift card code. Go to the iTunes Store, log in to your account, and then click “Redeem” in the Quick Links section. Enter the 16-digit gift card code, and then press “Enter” to add the amount to your balance.
Set Up an Allowance
Sign in to your account on the iTunes Store, and then select “Send iTunes Gifts” in the Quick Links section. Click the “Learn More About Gifting” button, and then click “Set Up an Allowance” in the Allowances section. Complete the form, entering the amount you want to add each month and the Apple ID for which you want to add to the balance. Enter your Apple ID password, if required. Provided your PayPal account is the primary payment method on your account, the balance is added automatically from PayPal.
Change Your Payment Information
Sign in to your account at the iTunes Store, choose the “Store” menu, and then click “View Account.” Enter your password, if prompted, and then click “View Account.” Click “Edit” next to Payment Type on the Apple Account Information page.
