Navigate to HTTrack.com to download and install the free software (link in Resources), then launch the program by selecting it from the “Start” menu or double-clicking its desktop icon. Click the “Next” button to start the HTTrack wizard. Type a name for your backup project, select “Blogs” from the drop-down menu and specify the location on your computer where you want to save the Blogger backup. Click “Next.” Type the address of your Blogger site in the “Web Addresses” text box, then click “Set Options” to specify advanced settings. Select the “Spider” tab and select “No robots.txt rules” from the drop-down menu. This ensures that HTTrack downloads everything. Click “OK.” Click the “Finish” button to initiate your Blogger backup. If your blog is primarily text, the backup should only take a few minutes. If your blog has thousands of posts with many images, the backup could take over an hour. Writer Bio
