MBPS (short for megabits per second) is a term often used to measure the speed of a high-speed Internet connection. You can check your Internet connection in MBPS by using any of the free Internet speed tests available. Internet speed tests will test the connection by downloading a small file (temporarily) to your computer and uploading it again. An Internet speed test will never be 100% accurate due to latency and other miscellaneous factors, which are out of your control, but it will give you a general idea of your connection speed.
