The Ultravision product line is Hitachi’s line of high-definition televisions. Whether the plasma or LCD version of the Ultravision, these televisions suffer much the same problem that many HDTVs have – insufficient sound quality. Flat-panel televisions don’t leave a lot of room for powerful speaker systems, leaving sound somewhat lackluster. The obvious solution to this problem is to bypass the Ultravision’s sound system altogether and utilize an external sound system.
