Click “Customize” on your Tumblr home page and select “Edit HTML” in the Custom Theme section to open the source code for your current theme. Press “Ctrl-F” and insert the following piece of code into your browser’s search box:
Press "Enter" to locate the description box into your theme's source code.
Add "style='height:no_of_pixelspx;'" (without double quotes) to the div element to adjust its height using CSS, where "no_of_pixels" is the desired height expressed in pixels. For example, if you want your description box to be 100px high, you would type the following:
Click "Save" to save your changes and adjust the height of the description box on your Tumblr page.
