A CBR file is a “Comic Book Resource” file, which essentially is a digital comic book. More accurately, it’s a compressed file that contains images – most often the pages of a comic. You can transfer CBR files to your iPhone using any of several comic book reader apps. While many of the apps transfer these files in a similar fashion, the apps themselves have vastly different features, including support for viewing one or two pages at once, zoom options and bookmarking.
