Dial *69

Dial “*69.” This is the star code for most phone providers’ call-return service. The call-return service will repeat the last number that called you, and depending on your provider, will automatically redial the number. If it doesn’t work, contact your provider to find out the call return code for your specific provider.

Use Call History

Enter your cell phone’s menu, and go to the “Call History” or “Call Log” section. The exact instructions and menu options will vary depending on your phone and provider, but every phone has a call-history screen. Find the last received call on the “Call History” list, and press “Send” to dial it.

Use a Third-Party Service

Redial a blocked number using a commercial service like Trapcall. While “*69” will not work with blocked numbers, which are often used by prank callers. Trapcall will reveal the caller ID of blocked numbers. Writer Bio
