Updated February 10, 2017 Jailbreak your iPod Touch device. Tap the “Safari” icon on the home screen of your device. Enter “jailbreakme.com” in the Safari search bar and tap the “Go” key. Slide the arrow icon across your device’s screen as instructed to jailbreak your iPod Touch. Select the “User” option. Your device will now automatically reboot. When your iPod Touch restarts, you will find a Cydia icon on your home screen indicating that you have successfully jailbroken your iPod Touch device. Tap the “Cydia” application on your jailbroken iPod touch. Tap “Search” and enter “Bootlace” in the search bar. Select the “Bootlace” application. Tap the “Install” button. Tap the “Confirm” button.
