Microsoft announced in June 2009, the discontinuation of the Microsoft Encarta Premium product lines. Customers using Microsoft Encarta Premium will still receive updates to the software for up to three years after purchase or until January 10, 2012, whichever comes first. The release of updates however, discontinued for all product versions, both national and international release, as of December 2009. If you need to download all available updates since your purchase, as long as your product is less than three years old, you have until January 10, 2012.
