Sony’s compact line of Handycam camcorders traces it roots back to 1989 when the company rolled out its passport-sized CCD-TR55 8mm video camera. The series entered the digital age in 1995 and went HD in 2005. Released in 2007, the company’s DCR line of Handycams – including models in the DCR-SR40, DCR-SR60 and DCR-SR80 series – features One Touch disc burning, allowing you to burn DVD copies from your camcorder with just one button press. If you have too much hard disk content for a single DVD, a window prompting you to insert another blank DVD will appear. Follow the instructions and insert a new disc to keep burning. Writer Bio
